I was forwarded this email. Very sad day for natural horsemanship. He had such a profound influence on so many of the current clinicians. I am thankful I was able to see him teach before he passed away.

We wanted to let you know that after a long battle with a lung infection, Ray Hunt passed away yesterday, March 12, 2009. We will pass along further details about any services to be held as we become aware of them.
The May/June issue of Eclectic Horseman will feature a tribute to celebrate the life of this irreplaceable horseman and the great influence he has had on the horse community. At this time we are asking for those of you who have a special memory of Ray or photographs to share to please email them to us if you would like them included in the tribute.
