I'm planning to go! Got to look at the tack for sale, and maybe bid on some silent auction items. It was a lot of fun last year!

There is going to be lots of tack, some new and some used. I heard there will be a couple of saddles. There is also a certificate for a castration and an euthanasia up for bid at the silent auction. Hope to see you there

Those are such important services. I hope they cause people to think about doing the right thing by their horses. It's always tough to think about euthing a horse, but it is our final act of kindness for our special friends.

I scored a great photo, a necklace and earrings in the silent auction. The horses for adoption all got homes. It was a great event!

It was a fun time! I scored a Big D winter blanket, all straps still attached and no tears for $5! Scored another winter blanket that was like brand new from a vendor there for $15. Finally got a white fleece English pad too - for $5, and in great shape. On the silent auctions, I bid on a hoof trim (from my own farrier) and won, so that will save me a few $$ this Saturday when he comes back. I also got a nice gift basket that had bath stuff, fancy notepaper, and a wind chime for another $5.

I scored two navaho type horse blankets one used for 1.00 and a brand new one for 7.50. A nice looking horse-hair look headstall for 10.00 and an old side-pull for 1.00. Almost bought a fantastic antique saddle but my saner side said walk away and don't look back. It was a beauty!!
