I thought it might be fun to have a place where we can share quotes or sayings that we have came across that mean something to us. Feel free to post your favorites here:
My favorite quote for today: “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”. Mahatma Gandhi
From where I sit, as a country we still have a lot of progress to make.

I swiped this quote off of Syndi's (ummm,.....Jack's Blog). I hope they won't mind. It is so true and probably why the more I'm around people, the more I prefer the company of my horses. "They say princes learn no art truly but the art of horsemanship. The reason is the brave beast is no flatterer. He will throw a prince as soon as his groom." ~Ben Jonson, Discoveries Made Upon Men and Matter and Some Poems, "Illiteratus princeps"If you would like to check out Jack's Blog, he is quite entertaining and tells lots of stories about life on the ranch from his point of view. Here is the website: journeysofcactusjack.blogspot.com/

"I have entered the snapdragon phase of my life - part of me has snapped, and the other part is draggin'."

To go forward you have to leave something behind. -Steve Jobs
I am okay on the moving forward part, it is the leaving something behind part I struggle with. I need to not haul around so much junk.
